“The work of women’s self-help groups is nothing less than a movement”

Chief Minister Chouhan said the work of women’s self-help groups in the state is nothing less than any movement. These groups have done a remarkable job. There was a time when women in Madhya Pradesh were confined to their role in a family. Today, the self-help groups’ turnover is more than Rs 20 thousand crores. The women have advanced economically through the activities of the groups. This increased their level of self-confidence. The women are also cooperating in the facilitation campaign of the Anganwadi kendras.
